Means of Entry
Attention: Read the notice before registering. It contains the candidate's year of birth, registration dates, other information and results.
National Selection
The National Selection is held annually for children aged 9 to 11 who live in Brazil or abroad and do not need to have any knowledge of dance and is divided into two stages. The pre-selection, held in several cities in Brazil and by video, and the second stage called the National Selection, which takes place in Joinville/SC.
Auditions
With the possibility of candidates with dance experience entering the Bolshoi Theater School in Brazil directly, auditions play a central role in the process of selecting new students. They consist of a complete ballet class held within the Bolshoi School on pre-scheduled dates.
Special Call
Another way to enter the Bolshoi School is through the Special Call, intended for dancers with dance knowledge from the age of 11. The process also occurs in two stages, as in the National Selection, and can be done in person or by video according to the institution's schedule.
