Bolshoi Brazil

Have approval from the Bolshoi Theater School in Brazil to teach the Vaganova Methodology. Those approved will be accredited and have their names registered on the Bolshoi Theater School website.

Proficiency in all years

The Agrippina Vaganova method is divided into eight years of study. One of the teaching characteristics is the gradual and logical way in which the technique is built by the teacher in the bodies of his students; from the dancer's first steps to his formation as a professional. To obtain the certification, the student will participate in an in-person test with an evaluation panel, composed of teachers from the Bolshoi School who will evaluate the ease, didactics and correct application of the Vaganova Bolshoi Brasil Method in the classroom.     The Special Certification is an endorsement by the Bolshoi Theater School in Brazil for professionals who take the Vaganova Bolshoi Brazil Methodology course. Those who pass the Special Certification exam will be accredited and will have their names registered on the Bolshoi Theater School website.

  • Is Special Certification mandatory?

    No. Certification is not mandatory for continuing studies in the Bolshoi School Methodology Course.

  • What is the validity of each certificate?

    Validity varies from module to module.

  • Who can have this certification?

    Those who took the course for teachers of Vaganova Bolshoi Brasil Methodology.

  • Is the test done online or in person?

    The test is in person. The student remains at the Bolshoi School for 3 days.

  • Is there any test for this certification?

    Yes! There is an oral and practical test. In the practical test, the candidate will give a class to students of the Bolshoi School with an evaluation panel of professionals from the Institution.

  • What happens if I fail the test?

    You keep your free course certificate.

  • How many certifications are there?

    There are three: Beginner Classes, Intermediate Classes and Advanced Classes.

  • How do I get certified?

    A prerequisite for Special Certification is to have completed, at least, the Introduction to the 3rd Year of the Vaganova Bolshoi Brasil Methodology course for Teachers.

  • I didn't take the Special Certification test. Don't I get a certificate?

    Those who do not complete this certification, at the end of the modules, will receive the free course certificate granted by the Bolshoi Theater School in Brazil.
